Self-Treatment

Starting your Family with NFS

Is Self-Treatment, the right option for you to start a family?

Self-treatment could be an option for you, the choice between treatment in a fertility clinic or self-treatment is highly individual and may involve both medical and emotional considerations. We will guide you through what self-treatment is and what is needed to go ahead with this kind of treatment.

What is self-treatment?

If you are free of fertility issues, self-treatment is an alternative to clinical fertility treatment.

It is important that you feel comfortable, relaxed, and stress free during the conception. Some women prefer to be in the hands of an experienced healthcare professional in a clinic. Others prefer the intimacy and privacy of self-treatment – of course under the guidance and support of a healthcare professional.

By performing the insemination by yourself or with your partner you reduce both the stress and the cost associated with going to a fertility clinic for the procedure.

Once you have decided to start a family you must also consider which method of conception is the best for you.

  • For women free of fertility issues, self-treatment is an alternative to fertility treatment in a clinic. By performing the insemination by yourself or with your partner you reduce both the stress and the cost.
